 "The Legend of Bagger Vance"
(2000 - USA)

Drama/Sport (Golf)

Savannah, Georgia golden boy, husband and pretty good golfer Rannulph Junuh heads off to World War I and comes back a man changed - for the worse. He leaves his girl, hits the bottle and loses his swing. An opportunity for redemption arrives in the form of an all-star golf tournament, and a caddie named Baggar.
This is an excellent film for those who like old-fashioned, well-acted, beautifully evocative and put together movies with the gentle, but assured touch of a man who understands cinema (Director Robert Redford),
And it still works even if you don't like golf. . .

English language film with English subtitles
2 hrs, 7 min.

Ratings:  IMDB - 6.7/10,   Amazon  - 4.7/5,   Roger Ebert 3.5/4
